The 39-153 Wardcare Bed is a simplified version of the standard ward bed, focusing on essential functionality and maximum durability. The frame is constructed from $50\text{mm} \times 25\text{mm}$ rectangular mild steel box sections, providing a rigid and stable platform for adult patients. The mattress base features a traditional mild steel strip design, ensuring consistent support and ventilation.
This model is pretreated and finished with a high-quality epoxy powder coating in a clean off-white or light gray finish. To ensure ease of installation and floor protection, each leg is fitted with a heavy-duty hard rubber cap. While it maintains a simple design, it includes integrated sockets for I.V. rods at the corners, allowing it to be used for patients requiring basic fluid therapy.
