The Fowler Hospital Bed (Wire Mesh Model) is designed to provide reliable support and patient comfort through mechanical adjustments. This model features a four-section laying area specifically constructed from wire mesh, with fixed portions reinforced by steel sheets for added stability.
The bed’s positioning is manually controlled via two hand cranks, allowing for independent elevation of the backrest (adjustable from 0-80°) and the knee section (adjustable from 0-40°). The main frame is built from high-quality $50 \times 25$ mm rectangular mild steel boxes, finished with a pretreated epoxy powder coating to maintain hygiene and resist corrosion. For convenient patient care, the bed includes detachable head and foot boards and is mounted on locking castors for easy mobility within a ward.
