The Universal I.T.C. Bed is a robust medical bed designed for intensive care units, providing clinicians with manual control over critical patient angles. It features full Fowler adjustments operated via mechanical screw cranks located at the foot end, allowing for precise elevation of the head and leg/knee sections.
One of its core clinical features is the Trendelenburg facility, which allows the lying area to tilt up and down through a dual friction clutch mechanism, while vascular positions are adjustable using a secure ratchet system. The bed is built on a rectangular mild steel frame with abrasion-resistant, washable head and foot boards for long-term clinical hygiene. For patient safety during transit, it is equipped with round rubber bumpers at all corners and high-quality castors with integrated brakes.
